The Chairmen’s RoundTable has begun mentoring its 200th local business. “This is a record for us,” says Robert McRann, chair of the nonprofit volunteer organization. “We have been actively getting the word out about our mentorship program and have really accelerated the pace of mentoring assignments over the past couple of years. The CRT has over 40 experienced and highly-respected members who have volunteered their time to our mentorship program. We want to connect as many companies as possible to this incredible opportunity to work with them.” The organization provides free mentoring and business advice to CEOs and presidents of local, private businesses. It currently has 31 active mentoring assignments.

The Chairmen’s RoundTable (CRT), a San Diego-based, non-profit volunteer organization that provides gratis mentoring and business advice to CEOs and presidents of local, private businesses, announced a formal alliance with San Diego State University’s Entrepreneurial Management Center (EMC). The EMC’s goal is to provide the educational programs and experiential opportunities that are necessary to nurture, instill, and foster successful entrepreneurship.
